amazing light coming down at Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania) . Saw a few zebras in the foreground, and decided to frame them into the picture as well...

these were taken in Tibet
Outside drepung monastary
alot of kids were begging for money outside.
this particular one caught my eye
it was august in paris
lots of clouds in the blue sky
I was at trocadero..
I saw the mum holding her kid's hand walking down the steps
with the effiel tower at the background.. and the dramatic sky..
I snapped this pic
as i was walking along the corridors of
the monastary..
i noticed a lone figure popping his head out of the
door way
a young and very shy monk..
i loved the expression on his face, and took 1 shot before
I continued my journey
this was taken in Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater
It was a cool early morning as we drove down to the crater
the cool breeze blowing across our face was good...
then at a distance.. we saw a few zebras moving away from us...
decided to take some landscape shot instead of close up this time round..
took out my Fuji G617, and took this panoramic shot
Of cos, the picture has to be appreciated more when printed big..
the 'mountians' behind is actually the rim of the crater..
And I love the dramatic texture of the sky

i saw her just before I leave Sagrada familia..
Amidst the tourist crowd.. she was there..
the bus was leaving.. and I only had that chance..
armed with the 135 and the Mk2n at that time
i squeezed the trigger..

tis was taken along the creek in dubai. it was sunset and there were lots of birds flying around the place. i stayed at this particular spot.. hoping that some birds get into my frame. After some time, n vola.. this lone bird flew across the frame.. though i did not have a 1 series at that time, my 20D worked just fine....
this shot was taken in Spain, Zaragoza
we just came out of the church, where I saw
this mother and kid walking along the streets
I was anticipating that the pigeons will fly off soon
So i prepared the shot, and burst away the frames once the
action took place
I liked how the pigeons framed the kid's face
and all the small details (the kids behind, the doll in the pram) once its been
printed big..

this was taken in tibet a few years ago.
i remembered there was a gust of sand blowing my way
my friend was shouting for me to take cover..
just then.. i saw this little monk running for shelter as well.
I decided to stay put and take this shot..
needless to say.. i was covered with sand after this..
And my then trusty 20D was covered wif sand too..
